Mogensen began designing wingback chairs in 1939 and many of his designs are adaptations of eighteenth-century English chair.this version demonstrares the influence of Klint and also shows innovation.Klint's wingback chairs were almost identical to the English chairs,whereas this design exhibits Mogensen's originality.
