Artlantis Render et Studio 3 – 64 bit Alpha Version - Windows
The Alpha 64 bit Version concerns Artlantis 3 users working under Windows Vista 64 bit or
Windows 7 64 bit.
NB: An Artlantis 3 version in 32 bit must have been installed and serialized on the concerned
machine.
Artlantis 3 64 bit user's benefits:
This version concerns users with huge data base which saturated the RAM with Artlantis 32 bit.
– Slow navigation when navigating in Preview.
– Memory saturation when calculating a rendering.
Under Windows 32 bit, the system allocates according to the Windows* version about 3 Gb of
RAM max, concerning a 64 bit application, all the quantity of available RAM in the limit of what is
necessary for the program.
* Windows XP, 2 Go, Windows VISTA, 3 Go, Windows 7, 4 Go.

The Alpha Version is delivered as it is. Please use it at your own risk, so we recommand you to
make a backup of all your Artlantis documents before working them with this version.
When launching the version a splash screen tells you « 64 bit Alpha Version ». Same when doing
« About d'Artlantis ».
Installation:
Double click on InstallArtlantis-3.0.4-x64.exe, please follow the displayed instructions.
List of the main installed elements:
An Artlantis Studio 3 x64 Alpha folder placed into the Program folder. Into this folder:
– Artlantis.exe* (executable).
– ArtlantisBatchRender.exe (executable).
Media (Folders containing Images, Objects and Shader).
Scenes (example files).
Limitation:
The Import-Export plug-ins are not available, to import your files please use Artlantis 3 32
bit version, then save the file into .atl format.
An atl project saved with a 64 bit version (because of lack of memory), could not get opened
anymore with a Artlantis 32 bit version.
Artlantis KeyServer is not delivered.
